Fishing Committee

The fishing committee works with area organizations to provide a Kid’s fishing day each spring. Through this event 1,000 children receive a fishing pole and fishing opportunity with volunteers on hand to teach and encourage them.  In coordination with the CAST for kids program, we have provided fishing opportunities for children with special needs.  We have taken exchange students from the local SCC Community College as well as high school students out fishing in the summer months and ice fishing in the winter.
